“Heavy snow is beginning to fall across parts of the UK, as forecasters warn that large swathes of England could see up to 4in (10cm) fall on Monday.” BBC News
We wake to see the clouds the same colour as battleships. The sky looks so heavy, like you would need shore it up with some scaffolding. After wandering downstairs to make coffee, I reviewed the Met Office to see what the weather conditions was expected in the next 24 hours and it is not looking as they foretasted good heavy snow. Oh joy, that means the kids wouldn’t be at school, so any plans I had for today have just went to out the window.
When the kids woke, the spotted the snow and were giddy & excited like they were when they little.
They rushed through their breakfast, they wanted to go out to play in the snow, how could I resist.
The kids hadn’t seen snow in this amount for a few years, by the time they got wrapped up nice and warm, remembered where they had put their gloves out they went.
To enjoy their time in the snow. Which make everything look good, even the weeds.
[NOTE] All pictures were taken this morning & early afternoon as the my children enjoy a rare snow day. They both had fun.
